As I am a new beekeeper I had never dealt with a swarm untill Thursday when I received a call asking If I would collect a swarm It was on the edge of a wall around four foot of the ground collected it without any trouble. Yesterday got another call this time it was hanging from a small cherry tree around six feet from ground a much larger swarm. I gave both swarms to a friend as I did not have the equipment available to home them

Well done to you. Get some more equipment fast, at this rate you will need it.
