Swarm time!

A QR is a simple bar, set at 4.5mm high for the period the b'keep
chooses to use it. It is n0t a QX nor any "swarm catcher" device
as some who prefer to b'keep by numbers and coloured blocks
would seek to apply.
To use an expression I note often used around this forum?
One has to "know their onions" to make the tool work, anything
else and sure, there will be tears.

Ahh finally.
So it can reasonably be used for 2-3 days max.
Good of you to also explain why you've repeatedly posted the same gumpf on beginners topics about how swarming can be prevented simply by fixing one of these queen includers. I'd suggest another method of trying to boost your credibility, as that kind of post count increase has certainly not given you credibility .
Oh and please drop the passive aggressive "poor me" drivel, you've not been "trolled", youve been asked questions. Questions that you needed to answer to back up your claims.
I'd so love block you, so I didn't have to listen to any more from you , but sadly my need to highlight stupidity where i see it overrides this. So expect to be questioned whenever you post nonsense or( god forbid) should you post something of intetest that id like to no more detail about. You've probably gathered by now that " because Bill says so" doesn't carry much weight here.

Ahh finally.

Heh... POSTS #4/#9/#11 - the light switches you stumbled past in your
rush to the baitbox.
Those 'new customers' (asking) have to be smiling, now.

It is understood you are n0t a moron, simply embarressed.
And so you should be. "Beginners" is not enough... "Remedial" should
be created as a special subforum for those so slow honey warms faster!

Ciao etc etc

Bill

Oh dear Bill, showing our true colours rather aren't we now. Any more petty insults before we proceed?

It's strange, you don't mention duration in posts 4 or 9 and in 11 you seem to claim it can be fitted and left for 2.5 months( ie. Put on at the start of swarm season)

Getting virgin queens mated must be tricky in Oz, with all the drones blocking up the hive entrances instead of flying to DCAs.

I’m sure I remember this chap on the Flow Hive forum. I think they turfed him off a couple of years ago but I haven’t looked in for a year or so

No defence is going to alter your perspective

Bill

:winner1st:

Could be applied in so many instances, perhaps a look in the mirror before those chaps in white coats take you back to whence you came,
(whether that's some dodgy stock station bar in the N T or Nut-shop in Earls Court).

Do we have a  emoji??

Reckon it's the same in the Bars & nightclubs, leads to chasing sheep & inbreeding.

Just looked at the Flow Hive Forum, it doesn't look as though he was on there very long.
Take a look at 'Brisbane Swarms- So Many Questions' on that forum. Considering he purports it is widely used, why has his post been flagged by the community and is temporarily hidden. There are other posts about his fabled queen restrictor. Also quite a few of his posts have been flagged by the community. He is unwilling to expand on the timings and its use which is confusing for beginners. We will be left to pick up the pieces if this is allowed to continue.

Luckily everyone has called him out so hopefully any beginner would not follow this advice why he is able to still post is a joke

Beginner's view: Never too concerned about his posture (others can be more grating), I simply couldn't work out what he was saying. Short of investing in the 'Alan Turing Guide to Ozzie Internet Boarders' and the 'Tim Leary Book on Carriage Returns', the use of a "zero" character for an 'O', or better still the 'o', takes a special type of thinking.

If I was around there for tea (he likes tea or simply 't') I'd wonder what was being spooned in.....
