Aldi's sugar 86p!
one of our beek members at horden, bought a pallet load and is selling to members at 45p kg
45p Per Kg where are they getting that from
Not sure of the price but I will be getting my sugar from Sainsburys. I have been saving my nectar points up. (no pun intended)
Is that cane or beet sugar .
I didn't know sugar cane was (is?) grown as a crop in UK. I thought it was too cold.beet has less carbon miles
cane growers put about myth that beet contained Barium neglecting to tell the great unwashed that cane was grown in land contaminated by arsenic from the Cornish & Devonian arsenic mines!
don't think it matters nowadays does it - bees can handle either?
