A Molar solution of sucrose ( atomic weight of sucrose in grams, dissolved in 1 litre of pure water) to give an exact 60 % sucrose solution would be useful to chemists.
Looking at the cost of distilled water in Tesco, possibly would make cost similar to Ambrosia!
However for my 60% (APPROX) solution I am going to go with
5kg white granulated sugar dissolved in 3.250 litres water which should give an approximate 60 % solution as being the best concentration from Rothhampstead.

I hope that sugar is grown in Tamar Valley.

And percents are native to Tamar Valley too.

Good work, from now on my 1-1 will always be 5-3.25, being almost half way between my previous 1-1 and 2-1.
Without using distilled water it remains considerably cheaper than Ambrosia, even at bulk rates.

Now it is time to repair water in syrup.

Looks more like full seawater than honey!

In seawater water content is 53.6%. Not bad at all.

I wonder how chips can go there.
A human baby has 75% water.
