Spring varroa treatment

I vaped three times in January. Should that be sufficient to take my bees through to autumn when they will be vaped again, or is it prudent to do some form of varroa treatment in the Spring too?

It’s prudent to check. I do two thorough inspections a year. That’s looking fir brood disease and varroa.

Generally a winter treatment should happily see you to autumn.

Not necessarily. Stop trying to make assumptions, and bcome a beekeeper!.

Monitor the board as well as treating.
It's not an accurate figure but will give a comparison sample between a light mite load and a heavy one,allowing you to decide .
Assuming it's not clogged with debris......

Other than apibioxal trickling around new year, I haven’t needed to treat my hives the last 2 years.
