Brill pics. Were the skeps you showed us in post 32 owned by you? If so, did you find any advantages in using straw hives over wooden ones with frames?

No Ben I have never owned a skep and no there is no advantage over a proper hive that I am aware of.

And the proud inventor of the Concrete hive, which failed in service. Cold and damp making it a nosema palace.
