A very few flakes at 1540ish and nothing since, in the southern-most enclave of Lincolnshire.

10 miles or so NE from O90O and no snow yet. wind getting up a bit though and light cloud cover since mid afternoon. now tucked up cosy with a cider and a bizarre mix of rammstein and capercaillie to blow away the cobwebs.

nothing here yet, but the sky going that strange orange/yellow colour that is does when it snows so dont think it will be long arriving.

Well it snowed quite a lot earlier on but its now raining.

Rained a tiny bit at lunchtime (200 metres) and then the temperature shot down to -3C and sheet ice set on some of the windows and all over everything else at ground level. Surreal and very slippery indeed.

Drove south for the BKA AGM and four inches of snow fell whilst we were in the hall. 4WD proved somewhat useful.

Just looked out of the window and it has just started to snow in West London about a quarter of an inch so will expect Heathrow to be closed:rolleyes:

Mayday

Let's spare a thought too for the fisherman who has gone overboard from his trawler an hour ago about 12 miles off Bude.

Padstow lifeboat almost on scene, Appledore lifeboat closing and SAR Chivenor searching, Swansea Coastguard co-ordinating

Weather raining, vis v poor, v cold, wind 4/5 at present increasing later so waves not too big.

Listening Ch16 and scan for news.

There been only a light smattering over night last night and nothing today apart from a bitter wind in Suffolk.
Yesterday morning was well below freezing but we had no frost on any surfaces- very strange, apparently this is called a hoarfrost.

started Snowing at Muswell hill North london at 7:30, and already they have pulled the Buses as they cannot climb the 1:10 Muswell Hill, so thats me sorted for a few days as i live on an ungrtitted road with a 1:6 hill (just moved the car to the bottom of the hill :driving:)

"Raining with us now "

Can barely remember a time it wasn't where you are! :)

I recollect the Welsh Tourist Office complaining to the weather people that they were always showing a cloud over Ty Ddewi/Abergwaun and Hwllfordd.

Bad for business they reckoned, still one there most days though!

Nothing like this This year ! What a difference 12 months makes :D

This year a scattering of snow only; thus far :)

Lovely pictures!

Fog & slush here, but fun to walk in the snow and spot the tracks. We found fox, badger (some of which - in the apiary - are HUGE  ), muntjack and roe
