Skimming air bubbles off honey

cling film

Carefully press down the cling film on to the surface I use a teaspoon or similar to get into the edges then carefully peel it off again. You should find 90-95% of the bubbles are removed.

I tried the cling film method yesterday.....BRILLIANT !

The cling film lifted all the air bubbles off & now I have nice clear honey in jars without the irritating look of scum on the top.

Great Peace of advice given use Cling Film to skim off scum worked a treat !!

It certainly works a treat.. i always leave another two days and check before jarring just to be on the safe side..
