I've seen mention of rosemary water a few times on the forum - apparently useful in introducing queens or combining bees, masking pheromone smells, I guess.

However, I don't think I've ever actually seen the stuff.

Is it something you make for yourself - or do you buy it? (in which case, what does the rest of the world use it for?)

Are there alternatives that are used?

4 inch Sprig of Rosemary.. the herb and 1/4 pint of hot water.. let it cool and serve tepid to warm!

That's easy, then - many thanks.

Given that I'm not likely to need very much at any particular time, I guess it's worth making it up when needed, rather than trying to keep it "in stock"?
