At least 15 all dispatched. Sadly far too many around and they can destroy my bee colonies in bad years

Seen two queen wasps flying around the hives, one went into a hive then came out a few minutes later, supprised with the size of them, never seen queen wasp before. Tried taking photo, have a cracking photo of my left welly as she moved a bit quick.

Finding a lot of moribund queen wasps around this spring, usually up under the roofs or in the recesses of the national hives, are many others finding the same?

Found 8 on Monday whilst helping a colleague with his first inspection of the year. They were under the roofs of National Hives
