Propolis Collector vs Plastic QE

Just been reading my Haynes Bee Manual and realised I might have made a mistake. The book describes (and pictures) a white screen used for collecting propolis. I might have used one of these as a QE. Can bees get through it OK or is it a struggle or even a complete barrier? Or is it just the authors being clever and finding another use for a plastic QE?

the holes on propolis screens are usually too small for bees to get through that is why they propolise them

Propolis screen can be used as a travel screen and as previous post says it is different to a QE
