Have used them, but found them a hit and miss so now use the same board as PH. Maybe it was me, but i found them to block up a couple of times so have now chucked them in a box in the garage.

I agree with many of the other posts. I've used them and for the most part they clear a reasonable percentage of the bees but not all, they fit my crown boards and I can fit them when required. Indirectly I'll stick with them as I dont have storage room for another specialist piece of kit only to be used 2-3 times a year.

Work fine for me on OSR.

Works fine for me also LOL.
OSR can granulate quite quickly but come on ,clean properly adjusted porters clear supers overnight (2 days max).
If your rape honey has reached the stage where two days is too late ,I think it's already too late for any other method and will require melting !

As soon as you start clearing the supers of bees the temperature in the supers drops considerably and if youve waited untill petalfall on some varieties of osr then cristalization will have already started and even leaving them one evening to clear can have a significant effect on the amount of honey its possible to extract without heat - personally I like to put rapid clearers on in the morning and take off and extract the same evening
