I have gone through the winter with my first two colonies - one of which has a non-laying queen.
When should I re-queen?
Should I try and rear my own queen from the laying one?
If I should buy a new one should I buy locally or does it not matter?
Help!

:iagree: Too early to be sure but you will have a job getting a new mated Q much before May anyway. Then local if necessary, say from BKA - or if necessary, pm me and I'll give you contact details of a reliable supplier, likely to be postage inclusive at £20, as last year.
