Hi,
Thanks for all the replies to my last post re varroa.
Now more questions!
If Ieave the one super on my first hive is it correct that I can't use Apiguard cos that will taint the honey?
If I do leave super on, will this mean next spring that I won't be able to extract any honey from that super because I left it on and any taint will remain ad-infinitum?
OR
Would it be ok to remove the super which even though they are capping is still not ready to extract, treat, then replace the super for the winter?
OR
If I feed syrup, treat at the same time then replace the super for the winter does that make better sense?
Sorry if these points sound a bit basic but with only two colonies I want to be sure what I'm doing is right.
Thanks TT
