More allergic

Can anyone tell me whether they have become more allergic to stings since Covid jabs? I have heard stuff about this and wondered whether there was any truth in it, or whether there was any research being done. Asking because I had a nasty reaction this morning and don’t usually. Tia.

I have had double vaccinations. I am always stung in beekeeping (bare hands) and noticed no difference in reactions (none) - I am basically immune to bee venom (even on nose or face -but multiple stings >15 at once - do cause some reaction but it does not last long) BUT they still hurt)

I would suggest they may be unconnected as there are lots of other variables in play - diet etc.

I suspect if you have an extreme diet - too much fat, alcohol etc or too few vitamins - the body's immune system my be weakened .

once at my Ukrainian friends apiary I picked up a particularly deep sting . In minutes I developed hives around my waist ! Petro said , Don’t worry, easy fixed .
he popped in his bungalow and returned with a tumbler half full of a particularly strong a Vodka . Drink that down . I obeyed , Petro had that kind of voice .
the effect was startling! I literally watched the hives fade away .
months later I was at a local bee society convention, one of the speakers was suggesting that alcohol had anti bee venom properties.
I related my story which he was pleased about .

There's hope for me yet then. I drink loads of mainly home-made wine and beer etc.. I'm pretty fit, but overweight and not getting any younger! My diet is good....too good maybe. The more I've been stung by bees the less of a reaction I have had.
