2, no 3, no 4 definitely 4......erm....5
Just back off holiday and found honey bees as seen in photo. Ended up hunting out what species likely to be but can't be certain. Mauritius is mostly A.m 50% sub species Africense and the remainder a mix of linguistica and carnica. Really dark bees where we were.

Coincidentally we returned from Mauritius two weeks ago.

Bees were very active on some type of palm tree that was in flower. Will post a video on our facebook page.

As you say they love the Frangipani too, as do I !

We met a bee farmer there last year. He told us they get honey all year as there is always a flow on. He also said the first Veroa mite had been found and asked if it would spread, real shame.
