I treat all wooden hive parts now. Doesn't matter whether it's pine, cedar, or lignum vitae. I don't trust the quality of any modern timber. Takes seconds per super with the sprayer. I'm also investigating wax dipping as an optiona clever trick for marketing dubious kit? forget different expansion rates - that stuff is going to rot in a thrice

I always used DN5 but after the last increase I decided I can't justify the extra expense anymore.
