On a related note, one of my brothers has an unfortunate affliction that involves chasing a small ball through the countryside with a bag of sticks whilst wearing loud trousers. His local (near Clevedon, just south of Bristol) course have today sent him rainfall figures for the last few years by way of explaining why the course has hardly been open this month. We're only three quarters of the way through the month and the total for this month is already two and a half times the average figure for February over the previous five years.
