I have a bucket of honey that has gone soft set on its own..it is really smooth and tastes lovely.. i know it has Phacelia in it with a good dash of Clover..would Clover maybe cause it to set like this and if so could i use it to seed the concrete set Oil Seed Rape honey.
Cheers
Steve.

How long has it been set?
I ask only because a neighbour gave me a jar of honey that was exactly the same. A month later it was absolutely concrete in the jar

Most of my honey here goes like that and I have lots of phacelia mixed in with a miriad of other flowers!
Who knows! Waiting for pollen analysis on the last lot that did this

I had the same with my 2nd batch I extracted...

I think it had a mix of osr, clover and fruit tree blossoms. It set smooth and had a lovely taste. Sold some at work and had lots of buyers wanting more due to the flavour
