Lincoln bee auction

I seem to recall 2007-8 winter and spring were bad with poor overwintering / spring build up and so bee prices escalated to silly levels. Th*rnes had listed nucs in 2007 for around £140. I went to Lincoln in 2008 and nucs ranged from 120 to 160 quid, full colonies went for about 250-270. A week later at Newark the prices were still just as high.

The biggest bargain I ever missed was at another beekeeping auction, maybe in 2007. A near new 12 frame Th*nes motorised extractor (About 850 quid then to buy new) It really struggled to sell for 130 quid despite being put through the auction twice. I had no suitable transport that day.

Yes, I'd like to know the prices as well please, my local BKA's having their annual auction on the 28th, be interesting to know how big an overdraft I'm going to need
