The other year I got some custom labels printed by Thrns. Thought I'd have a go myself this year. I got some avery labels 10 per sheet and got the template all aligned. The only problem is that the labels are just slightly higher than the Thrns ones and don't quite fit on the jars. The avery labels are 57mm high they need to be approximately 52mm. Anybody any idea where Thrns get their labels from and do they have an avery code or similar for them?

Not sure I understand what your problem is.

Avery sell lots of different labels.

*These* ones are exactly 52mm tall.

While *these* are 46.4mm if you want something that fits your space more easily.

And there are plenty others … http://www.avery.co.uk/avery-product-selector/ps?locale=en_gb&int_id=prodselector_topnav#

I use the 14 to a sheet, fits perfectly DLW 1733

White floppy disc labels 70 x 52 work a treat on 12 & 16oz jars, what size jars are you using?
