Well, inspite of having flu (and having a birthday lunch when I should have been in bed) I had a rather fruitful day in terms of beekeeping kit aquisition....
...When I moved out of the folks' place back in 1997, I left quite a bit of kit in a shed that was subsequently dismantled and I presumed all had gone..but not so.
Dad said he'd been digging about in one of his remaining 3 sheds and found a bit of my old bee kit....
A honey warming cabinet with thermostatic bar heater
A 100kg stainless steel honey ripener with seive
72 glass jars and 144 caps
assorted frames that need cleaning up
1 large tub of pdb crystals (yes I know!!)
all in all a fruitful day !
oh, and I still have flu !
