Hi,

I caught a swarm late Saturday afternoon and they seem to be working well bringing back pollen.
When would you recommend I do the first inspection of them?
I was told three weeks so should I just leave them to it and let them settle in?

I would leave for a week or two then check.

:iagree:

A few days to draw out a frame or two, then 8 days to confirm if the queen is laying and if they are worker cappings.

Once queen has started to lay and before the brood is sealed I would give them an icing sugar dusting or two for varroa reduction. Others would use oxalic acid.
