In for a noisy night, from the ewes and the Goggled eyed Plovers

Half the lambs went off to the ???? today, the ewes are missing them and bellowing all the time, and the 2 bottle fed lambs are now weaned and calling for their milk.

We are also getting a lot of noise from the Goggled Eyed Plovers, they are stating to call at dawn and dusk. Never had them so close to the house as we have this year.

That's so sad :(
I know it has to be done or there would be no lamb to eat and no livelihood for farmers but I hated that when I lived in Cumbria. I've never eaten lamb since.
