B&Q not helping with your project is with regard to accuracy and is to protect themselves, but I have had people use a bit of scrap to verify an accurate set up before now. I am happy to do most of the work, but just need the dimensions to be square and within the scope of my situation, tooling and ability.

I thank you and will give Merrick & Heath a whirl, after checking the B&Q prices on my way past. Rolf Street isn't a direction that I go in very often, but it's less than a couple of miles away from the family shopping in Oldbury. A telephone call is very close and convenient too.
I remember the Oldbury establishment when it was Birmingham Boards, it sounded more down to earth - It's a shame that they don't have a smaller saw for fast jobs and little guys like me.
