Hi, if there is anyone out there in France near Piegut/Nontron?
We have just lost a nest that we retrieved a couple of weeks ago and although newbie's in France, would like bees of our own.
We know it's late in the season, but it seems a bit daft being registered beekeepers without bees!
We had these bees for 2 weeks, then they swarmed off on Friday/Saturday - no warning and no queen (we think). They had originally stocks when we took them and the combs, but just seemed to eat their stock then b**ger off! They left some sealed brood and pollen - all honey gone. There were originally 5 combs, now all we have is wax: to melt/clean!
If anyone can help us we would be grateful.
