Damn! A lot more than I ever thought I'd have
My stash of Thornes frame runner nails, the little brass coloured dome headed ones about 10mm long has dried up. My Comrcl BB's are 18mm thick so don't mind if they're longer.

What do you use and where can I purchase a few please?

TIA

I use flat head drawing pins with longest pin I can find.

I just use whatever's handy, galvanised nails or even the nails that come with flatpack hive parts (I use screws not nails for them) if the nail is too long, I just snip it shorter with a wire cutter

I'm sure I had some, I'll go take another look thanks

there called escutheon pins and can be got from suppliers & DIY stores

I use the frame ‘gimp nails’ if I cannot find the escutcheons.

so do I, but some runners/castellations have larger holes than the nail heads in them so they keep slipping off the nails.
Now don’t tell me you’re having runner problems.
