That last bit seemed to fox him?

From film maker to film distributor eh? Keep scouring, it's quite interesting.

Will not be long before you have a vid on the go Pete. I bet you have enough tools to get this on the go. It's a case of planing , lots of the same cut, each time you set up make the most of it.

No riving knife and no blade guard MMHHH !

John Wilkinson

How close are his fingers to that blade when cutting those frames CRAZY.

Looking at some of the wood used it wouldn't even make seconds quality.

Not sure how long he been doing it, but he's heading for an accident one day !
Extra bit I didn't like, apart from previously mentioned ones, was clearing away at the back of the saw by reaching over, this is a good time for accidents, when you think the "cutting" is done.
People, foolishly, have been known to not use a top guard at times, but to reach over the blade...............! :nopity:
Don't know why top guards are removed because apart from helping to keep your fingers on, they also stop most of the dust flying up at you !

theres no chance of me making a video of that, i like having ten individual fingers to pick my nose with,
the other thing is that i dont own a bench saw or a spindle moulder which i think he is using ( badly) is it a spindle moulder??

any way theres no room in the back garden and no chance at the allotment so all i have tool wise its not worth the hassel to do it,

it would help if i had the brains to use these tools if i had them as well, which i dont!!

That spindle moulder is either very blunt or a 3 phase running on 1 phase. You don't need a spindle moulder, a big router in a table would do fine. What you could do with a spindle moulder is get a set of custom blades made up, so you just swapped the blades around to get the different cuts, rather than messing about with cutter height.

The table saw work is horrific. At the very least he should cut them by hand down to a few inches, then use a feather board + push stick to do all of the little bits.

I use a router, easy enough to set up.

In pine, with a 2KW router? Not really a problem. Oak would be a different kettle of fish. Depends on the cutter, you get into trouble if you're using a 13mm cutter for a 12mm cut - but if you're using a 30mm diameter cutter, it can go pretty deep as long as you're not forcing it.
