I asked how much you were making. You should have said a couple of kg

What kind of mating hive do you plan on using? reason I ask is that in anything other than mini nucs, whenever possible, I'd be inclined to get food combs stocked by support colonies rather than adding feed direct to individual mating nucs (use of feeders being a secondary fall back but certainly not the primary aim). This is a personal opinion based on time and management and one of the many reasons that I chose to go to the trouble of making my own mating nucs based on half size frames in preference to the smaller minis.
