Awesome. There is an organic farm not far from us that have just planted quinoa, lentils and chikpeas for the first time this year. Not sure if any of it produces nectar, will do some research.

You'll get plenty of methane!
 
How did you get on with your application to officially become a beefarmer Mark ? Is it through yet ?
Nope don't have enough colonys even now having 60 at home.
Alot of small beefarmers applyed this year.
I don't think I will try again I can get really good prices on equipment and jars, and I have two farms near me that want me to take hives for pollination just from word of mouth. Plus my insurance is through work.

So are they getting a bit picky then ? Used to be 50 colonies and running your beekeeping as a business ...

When I applied I didnt have that many I got told to re-apply when I had 60+ as there was quite a few applications from beekeepers in my position.
