Heads up....I'm getting a daily email from this suppliers "address" trying to get me to log in to the NBU using a link on the email...I don't have an account with him, although I have bought some stuff from him....My anti virus is warning me that there is a problem with the link...So be careful if you receive a similar email..

had it loads of times, I always delete unexpected/suspicious emails. If the NBU had a problem it would communicate differently to let us know.

I've been getting these daily e-mails as well and because of the heading referring to the NBU I usually delete them right away. I have also bought stuff from Simon the Beekeeper so opened the first e-mail, but as it didn't make much sense I just deleted them right away. You would think that if Simon knows about this they would be able to take some action to stop them!

He may not know, it's not unusual for the person whose email has been cloned not to know anything about it .. Have you told Simon ? He's a very nice guy and I'm sure would be horriifed.

I had it happen to me some years ago when emails were sent to all my email 'contacts' offering cheap Viagra ! I only found out when one of my friends emailed me and pointed it out.

I now have a number of personal email addresses (mostly dormant) but I keep them in a very limited contact list .. as soon as anything like that happened again I would get an email to myself and see it.

I don't use the contact list in any of the email programmes as this is the first place a hacker or bot will look for .. that's where the value is.

Agree that emails should be deleted. On an aside, NBU is having problems with some email providers blocking its communications. Particularly gmail but I have also experienced problems with BT. There is a post on the NBU site asking for the domain to be added to your whitelist.
