I go quite tall on nuc box stacks, and to avoid tipping I forget wooden stands and use concrete. My stands are made from 4 hollow blocks (2 for each leg) with a paving slab on top. Once strapped down the hives are effectively tip-proof, short of a nuclear blast in the vicinity.

Sounds solid , might rethink mine and make a big rack to put it on!
