There is some plum blossom out on the local path. Hopefully warm enough for the bees to pollinate. Hopefully will get a Harvest of plums to make jam. Some years there aren't many plums because the weather was too cold while the trees were in blossom

Bee’s enjoying spring flowers today. In the north west blooming time is quite late so our snowdrops and crocuses have only recently made an appearance. Thankfully we have had a few days of sun and warmer temperatures which has allowed the bee’s to get to work on them 😃IMG_8330.jpegIMG_8314.jpegIMG_8309.jpegIMG_8317.jpeg

Spring's late here. I looked back at some photos I took last year. On the 19th February a tree by some of my hives was just coming into blossom and the bees were on it. This year it took till the 6th March to reach the same state.
