Like the idea. Not sure I like it 100 quid worth plus whatever the refills of plastic cost.

I thought the prepublicity promised a "50 dollar" 3d pen. The actual price turns it into something that should have a use, as you say.

It likely is $50 - in the US.

Hot glue gun, but more controllable, comes to mind. Smaller nozzles available for them? Pick your glue sticks carefully?

Doubt it will be the only one for long - unless they don't catch on.
 
Before I had seen what you were talking about, I was going to say, 'No, whatever it is you don't need it.'
Now I have seen it, you need to stand behind me in the queue.
Perfect for making queen rearing cages, mouse-proof entrances, cages to trap 'free-style' comb into frames. How did you ever manage without one???
 
Decorating your honey jars, and making tamper seals...
