Any views on DN4's v DN5's ? I know the DN5's are stronger with the larger bar but does this have any effect on brace comb etc or is this just a marketing ploy to get you to fork out an extra 20p (ish) per frame. Standard depth by the way not 14*12's (I might see the point of DN5's in a 14*12).
 
DN5s are only stronger than DN4s if you try to snap one across your knee.

If you look at both the joint for the side rail and the lugs are the same and its this part that gets all the stress when in use.

The DN5s may reduce brace comb at the top of the frames but also reduce the chance to look down between the firs couple of inches of the frames.

The DN5s with the thicker mid section may have less twist in it when holding the lugs and this may help or not on the 14x12 frames.
