All I was doing was pointing out two things you said, I am certainly not a keyboard warrior and as I said maybe I read it differently to what was intended, two things you said were.
1. I will never get and keep local, let alone “native”, whatever that is, here.
This seemed to imply that there's no such thing as Native, I was merely pointing out that AMM are our 'native' bee and yes they are still in existence throughout the U.K
2. you then said

As someone very interested in AMM and wanting to breed them for others to try 'near me' of course I'm going to comment, as you have said, each to their own and I have no issue with anyone keeping whatever they want but as your negative comments were aimed at AMM or Native bees not bees in general, its no wonder AMM enthusiasts get defensive.
