I bite? Hmm.
Interesting to read the garden stories. Am I surprised: not at all. Pleased to see some common sense appearing.
Out apiaries are not so difficult to find. The question to ask is can I put some hives over there please? NOT have you somewhere where I can put bees?
Pick your spot and ask. If it's a no then off you go looking more.
Points to consider. Access. NEVER underestimate the importance of this. I like to be able to drive to with in 100 yds of the site and then use a wheelbarrow. No fences of course to contend with. Remember hives and supers are heavy to humph out.
A locked gate is a serious bonus. I am behind one at the moment.
Public footpaths have to be considered too.
And last of all, if you dinna ask folks you winna get.
