Beekeepers Liverpool

Hello all,

I am new to beekeeping. I have read several books but need to get some experience around hives.

I am wondering if there is anyone in the Liverpool area who would let me spend some time with them of a weekend while they are working at their hive(s). Any kind of experience would be a great help

Please let me know if this is possible.

I live in South Liverpool and have hives in my garden and on an association apiary about a mile down the road. If you got in contact with the association you'd probably be able to go along to one of the meetings at the association apiary where the hives there that are owned by the association get inspected.

Unfortunately I cant make the weekdays. I am only in Liverpool during the weekend...

ooh branch meetings always used to be on the weekend,
give them a call and ask for an updated schedule.

There's a meeting at Rice Lane Farm tomorrow, but it might be a good idea to give a call if you intend to go as a non-member. And it is an apiary meeting too, so you'd need protective gear.
