Since the manufacturers have no control of the number/behaviour of bees in each hive, the physical hive set up used during treatment and the ambient temperature during treatment their statement as quoted from the FAQs seems rather unjustifiably rigid (although they obviously don't want complaints of dead bees from all and sundry.
The concentration of thymol within an individual hive must surely vary significantly.
perhaps we should all be swapping patties at day 10 rather than 14.
