I have just moved 2 hives to a friends land short term, distance approx 5 miles. i have done this because i needed to move them about 15 meters from my house but over a big fence and also a wall so the 3 feet rule seemed unsuitable both to myself and the poor bees so i thought move them away and then move them back simples but i don't know how long i should leave them before bringing them back.
any advice greatly welcomed and thanks in advance ,Rob
