As my prevoius thread, i prefer spacers and staggered to start with one SN1 frame without spacers as a dummy to remove first if my bees proplis everything up

i have metal spacers at 44 and plastic at 46

Just goes to show it is horses for courses. All the old hands I have discussed frames with at my division have turned their Noses up at spacers as a pain in the arse.

A very simple way of stopping Manley frames from getting well stuck together is to Vaseline the edges of the sides.

Anyone tried champhering the edges of Manleys to reduce the surface area which the bees can propolise?

I am going to try that this year plus a bit of vaseline
