I've gone double 14x12s but a 14x12 demaree is quite a lot to manage. But achievable if you do it by degrees. During manipulations have 2 nuc boxes and a step ladder to hand. Move the frames into the nuc boxes and move the brood box. Now go and sell it to your bee buddy. My bee buddy is nearly 20 years younger than me, 6 inches taller and goes to the gym regularly. I'm trying to persuade him that next year we can demaree one of our 14x12s, reunite the bees and let them fill up and cap the upper box. He's not keen.
Any recommendations on how to find one of these??My bee buddy is nearly 20 years younger than me, 6 inches taller and goes to the gym regularly.

No, it's not, which explains the quick sale; if you'd asked for 7 I bet it would have sold just as fast. Try 8 next year and sell it in two weeks instead of one.it wasn't enough
