That large tree looks somewhat rotten and with the possibility that large branchs could some time in the near future fall off so not a good idea to have hives directly underneath it.

Will check that when I go up tomorrow to put the blocks down and get everything level. Thanks for the input. 👍
 
Finally got a chance to move bees onto the site. Only two colonies so far plus some spare kit.

Will do the other hives next weekend weather permitting.

I have some hives on a woodland site.
One of them has been attacked by Woody Woodpecker several times but non of the others.
He has gone through the roof into the feeder below several times but a breezeblock weighing down a large plastic sack has stopped him.
Poly Hive so just patched up with some gorilla tape.
