Just contemplating my first oxalic treatment for the bees! Which ready made solution should I think about 3% or 4.5%. 6% too strong, yes?

I thought 3% or slightly above (3.2 %) was the recommended concentration for the UK.

Hi there,
Did mine for the first time ever yday. Bought mine from beeshop 3.2% on the bottle. Did not ask and was not given a choice so I assume that was all they sold. Don't know where people get other strengths from, but much debate on the subject that's for sure. Good luck. Mine were broodless so that part of it was perfect anyway. They obviously knew it was coming!

Waiting for mine to arrive in the post. 3.2%

I'm making mine up at 3.2%
Had a look through the poly crowns yesterday and although they are not flying they are walking about so won't be doing mine just yet; maybe Jan.

use search,recently been discussed

the sussex suppliers 6% is w/W in 30% syrup d equilents to 4.5%.w/v

the main rand retailer is 3.2% w/v in 50%which is the NBU recomended

anything 3.2-4.5 % w/V appears to be fine, but i use 3.2% in 60%
