This waiting game is killing me! Am obsessing over the weather. It seems the met office, the bbc and another 16 day forecast site all have different opinions.

I.E, at what date in the south of the UK is it clear that my bees will survive the winter. Not sure if there is a solid answer.... March the 19th is the end of winter but thought someone with experience might say something like if they survive past (.....) thy will probably make it.
Worried about how many months I can nail bite for!

And then they swarm.

End of April once they are on the oil seed rape, they should all be producing lots of brood, April 25th last week in April... any losses after that is down to old age and shouldnt really happen as there are drones around brood from other colonies to requeen etc.......then the oil seed rape kills them ah well can't win...:ohthedrama:

Thanks Lads,
Weather was quite nice on Sunday, had a quick peek at my two hives - everything looked well.
Decided this beekeping lark is quite easy.
Decided to sit back and have a nice cup of tea.
Decided to hell with tea it was time for a beer, winter was over after all.
Now its back to worry and fear!!:banghead:
