Welll ... there's no change there then ... your way or no way. Isn't it time you hibernated ? Or got on with bottling your mammoth honey harvest ? Amount of time you spend on here I wonder how you find time to keep bees ....

Hi pal! Something new on West Front!

Time to keep bees...
we have 7 cm snow on ground and -4C. Bees have hibernated one month.
I sold all my honey.

I do nothing.... Not even sheeps on fields, what I could count.

Whose way?

You seem to adapt those ways which others have abandoned. Best practice to collect antics.

No ... I invented my own hive and then found that Robin Dartington to some extent had got there before me .... and I've evolved ... all my other hives are polystyrene so I learned a new idea ... I'm sure you approve of Poly hives. However my Long Deep Hive still has a purpose and it is a useful addition to my beekeeping.

Just in case you didn't get it the first time ... See, I'm learning from you ..

What you should do first, is to move your hives to good pastures. Mere writing does not help you forward in the process of learning.
Your learned writing at the age of 6. Time to move on.

Is there anything such as 'Good pastures' left in the UK that are accessible to those of us who live in urban connurbations ? I may not get the quantity of honey that you do by your mobile beekeeping but what I get is what the honey judges have declared (twice now) as 'Lovely floral honey' and I get that taste because my bees have a broad mixture of forage.

-got on with bottling your mammoth honey harvest ?

Steady on, Phil, Finny will be opening bottles (well, more bottles) now - to keep that 'warm' feeling throughout the cold winter months. Vodka, brandy, rum ... etc?

It may well explain his double posts, even? But, nevermind, it all helps to get his post-count up! If he didn't repost again and again, he may have only just reached ten thousand posts!

But even Finny is learning. I remember when he claimed that midwinter oxalic acid dribbling was the panacea for colony survival. He has mellowed, a bit, over the years on some topics.

Leave him alone - he needs his rest, after a busy season!

That is great

Where are good pastures....

My friend in Central Finland says, that he cannot move his hives to better pastures. Hives are there everywhere. He has 300 hives.

You remember wrong. But I remember when a guy name Oliver has declared 15 years, that dribbling is good for nothing.

IT has been known exactly what dribbling makes, and nothing more. Nothing miracle in it. Only miracle was that users will be prosecuted and doomed into jail and hives will be burned.

But I remember how opening the hive cover in Britain in winter will kill the colony.

And I remember how Italian 6% oxalic acid was actually 3,5%

I have spent many funny moments with British Intelligence.

How to make warm water.... And many more

Some guy have done concrete hive into face book.

There is no sign that the guy knows what real bee hive should be. So many basic things are wrong.

Now evebody is wondering that innovation. Pure joke.

I think these are the YouTube videos of the same person as the Facebook page.

and I suppose this is the website, I don't see an English language option, so Google Translate will have to be used.
