Still very new to all this and im a slow learner so bear with me please. Having found 3 queen cells ,all with lava and jelly and one tapering down looking like it is ready to be sealed and all on the bottom of the frames. With my limited knowledge and after a disaster last year with swarming i thought i had little option but to split them.
In my other hives today i found the queens while inspecting, but this one being a DB even though i went through three times i could not find her. So i adopted the wally shaw method (snelgrove) but unsure what hive gets the super i removed. Thank you.
