Nothing to add to that. Your bees. You need those results. Not me.

Researchers do so, that they first give a treatment, and then they make second research, how many mites stayed alive.

You cannot count your results, how many is still alive. Dead mites means nothing in your case because you used unefficient stuff.

Do not worry about efficiency of my staff my dear friend ;) I always try to use the staff that`s proved to be efficient. This is my first treatment with oxalic with thousands of recommendations behind it`s recipe.
But I also treated bees in autumn with thymol, in accordance with a Mr. Hivemaker recipe.
A year ago I treated them with thymol only, and believe it or not, it was also very efficient :) , as a natural drop of dead mites was barely noticeable in comparison with a previous year. I also did not see distorted wins on any bee this season. After this autumn thymol treatment I see almost no droped mites on varroa boards, but I did treatment at even lower temperatures (~10-12`C) than a year ago(~12-14`C). Thus oxalic is just my way of making sure the bees will be fine next year again :)

Got to agree with Finman
Water Evaporates quicker than sugar solution ! Water evaporates quickly , the water content of syrup evaporates slowly and the syrup will remain fluid long after water has long disappeared !

I agree Jenkins too, without pain. I loose nothing from myself when I say it.

Wow. What a storm in a cup of tea :)
Sugar content of the solvent I used is roughly 16% :
300+60+12=372
372 -100%
60 – X %
60x100/372 ~ 16%

You suggested 50%
Time that needed for my solvent to get 50% concentration during evaporation is just an extra time that the formula will work. So, what`s a problem? ;)

Finman :
Modern young people use to live like Jesus. Lives with his mother up to 30 age, and if he do something then, it is a miracle.

Very funny Finny.

Today temps around zero celsius, just walked around hives. Strong north wind blowing.
Yesterday spent time on lectures. Interesting was about queens, that our carnies are more and more in demand. Also to have to make some researches to determine lines which are here to get it on more comercial level for export. Also what advised not needed to make in abundance drone lines, just little increased drone population of best colonies is enough.

Also what I liked was that it will be higher and more efficient control on wax quality ( foundations). When heard of what all are made foundations.. For example, with 80% of parafin and 20% of wax most of the visual qualities parafin take from wax.. But in the hives when full of honey.. horror, all fall down.. These who are forging wax foundations, mix beef tallow, sheep fat, parafin, etc.. At least it is sad what people do in worship of Money God..
