if IoW really still in the 1950s as many suggest (similar to italy but w/o the mobile phones) they would probably expect william of WPF to turn up personally wearing brown overall coat, measure up and then install the nucs personally.

Have you asked him?.

Basic rule of buying anything on line for me is to email first. Did this with our problem firm and got no reply so they got no order. P***es got it instead. Just not worth the hassle of buying from someone who - for whatever reason, just or unjust - doesn't 'jump' to serve you. I've walked out of many a shop for the same reason - usually assistants finding it more important to chat to each other than to sell. Doesn't protect you from con merchants because they're usually dead keen to sell - but that's another story!

Couldn't agree more woith that statement. You have the money, they (should) have the goods, so let's exchange and get on with what we (the customer) is doing. Simple.

Oh, and let's not have suppliers telling the rest of the world what we're buying, how much, where we are, etc etc - confidentiality.

Good on yer, Admin!
drstitson might be surprised at the excellent level of service we often get from local firms - sometimes not far short of what he suggests. One example (bit off-topic, sorry) went to buy a new staple/tack gun and commented that mine was broken. Brown-coated gentleman assistant whispered that I should bring it in, he could probably fix it for me. Get that elsewhere, anyone? :smilielol5:

Well, whatever was said in that e-mail, the P****s version seems to be the superior one at the moment. Well, at least it actually exists!!

Have many people got their order of Poly Nucs. Still no sign of mine.

Got my Paxxnes bee nucs i.e ones bought by and then sent from WPF couple of weeks ago. I would say try calling or emailing WPF but from experience this doesnt seem to have much effect!
A strongly worded letter may have a little better luck?

My order went through PayPal on the 06/12/10 with the understanding l would have my Nuc
around the beginning of February this year thus preventing me from getting reimbursed ,the 28 day rule, from PayPal.

l ordered a poly nuc not a a nuc of bees and there is no restriction in importing bees into Ireland but it is frowned upon by the Irish Federation.

Well i met Willaim at Stoneleigh today, and its fair to say he has had more than his fair share of problems.

I get my bees from him on monday as promissed. But i would say the man is genuine and if he has not sent your goods out to you. I would sugest you Phone him.

His Internet connection has been down for best part of 2 weeks he tells me, so he is not comunincating via email

he never replys to emails i woulkd bet his internet connection is not down
and if you phone him on the number on the web site that is a mobile number he never answers that! or calls back when you leave him a message

I have caled him 3 times on that number on his website, the moble number and he has answered every time. I have never had a problem with him answering the phone. My problem was with him not giving me any info on my Nuc of bees i had bought from him. But we agrreed today i can pick them up on Monday from him. And they will be in one of those poly Nuc boxes which he was selling from his stall today.
