I visited the thornes shop at windsor yesterday, had a good look around and brought a few bits and bobs.
I got 3 different small wax moulds including 1 of the beeswax 1oz blocks, i came home and gave them a try with my son, i melted some wax in a glass jug in the microwave it wasnt boiling just liquid, and filled them all up.
Anyway the problem is the one with 5 1oz beeswax blocks warped very badly between the blocks, the 2 other moulds were totaly fine.
anyone else had this problem?
are you only supposed to use the wax at a certain temp (there was no label saying so?)
It was only £3.50 but just a bit pi##ed as the shop is an hour away, and this was the mould my son really wanted to work as they look like "gold bars" lol.
